When you are on to something good why stop? And Longview Vineyard are most definitely on to something more than good with their unreal Crush Festival event…
The Piece Project is back for 2016 and it just seems to get bigger and better every year! The street art showdown will hit the winery this weekend as part of one of the hottest wine events of the year (see the other wine events you won’t want to miss if you love wine here).
In what will be its sixth straight year as a part of the Crush program, this year’s lineup is totally awesome. So what exactly is this event all about? Well, apart from the obvious, wine, this event sees 4 amazingly talented street artists battling it out to win the honour of having their ‘Piece’ grace the label of Longview’s flagship shiraz. Epic.
If you think that this event is all sounding a bit too cool, just wait because there is more… There will be not one, but two DJs keeping the good vibes going all day, Longview Summer slurpers, Vale Lager and Adelaide Hills Cider on tap, Hill Country Slow-Cooked BBQ, prizes to win AND one of the most spectacular views in the Hills. Ok, and breathe.
This really is one of the biggest events on the Crush Fest Calendar.
The Colonist, Hotel Wright St, Joiners Arms and Mile End Hotel are all on board to feed you before you get taken to the party! Get this… For $60 you get breakfast at the pub along with a weekend kick starter of a glass of Longview’s award winning bubbles or Adelaide Hills Cider, transport up and back, and a very fancy Speigelau Adelaide Hills Wine glass (which will be filled with more glorious wine when you arrive)!
