Australian indie icons Lime Cordiale have officially announced their upcoming Australia and New Zealand tour, titled “Enough Of The Sweet Talk.” Scheduled for October this year, the tour will see nine shows performed across the two countries, including an Adelaide date.
The tour will kick off on Thursday 3 October at the HBF Stadium in Perth. From there, Lime Cordiale will move through major cities including Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney, with the Australian leg concluding at Brisbane’s Riverstage on Sunday, 13 October. The band will then head to New Zealand, with shows lined up in Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington, and Auckland towards the end of October.
Adding to the fun, Ball Park Music is confirmed to open for all Australian dates. Known for their dynamic performances, Ball Park Music complements the headliners’ style, promising a series of high-energy concert nights.
Both Lime Cordiale and Ball Park Music are pumped about this collaboration. “We’ve been spending so much time overseas, it’s so exciting to come home for our biggest shows yet. We’re putting a lot into making the production and stage set super exciting but as always, we want to make this feel like an intimate 100 capacity party,” said Lime Cordiale. They also praised Ball Park Music as “debatably the best band in the country.”
Echoing the sentiment, Ball Park Music shared, “We’ve wanted to go on tour with the Lime legends for years but it’s always been a pipe dream… until now! Can’t wait to share the stage and put on incredible concerts together.”
The anticipation for the tour is heightened by Lime Cordiale’s recent global success, marked by sold-out performances from Vancouver to Vienna. Their ability to connect with audiences worldwide has ensured a strong following, backed by their engaging live performances.
For fans eager to secure their tickets early, presales start on 4 June at 1pm local time for Frontier Touring members. The general public will have their chance starting from 6 June at 1pm local time.
The tour will also be supporting an environmental cause. Through a partnership with FEAT. Live, $1 from every ticket sold will contribute to a solar slice initiative.
With new music hinted to be on the way from Lime Cordiale, the “Enough Of The Sweet Talk” tour is shaping up to be a not-to-be-missed event.
