Surrey Downs’ popular venue Square 44 is delighting customers with their Vegan Baconator. Available at the café for a limited time only, where you can tuck into a concoction of fried, crispy deliciousness, that will set you back $12.

The chefs at Square 44 marinate their vegan bacon in a maple glaze for a hint of sweetness, cooking the facon on the grill until it reaches the perfect caramelised level of crispness, akin to the texture of traditional bacon. They then load a coconut-based vegan friendly bio-cheese into white bread, buttering and toasting the slabs of bread before they coat the whole thing in a flour batter similar to the Colonel’s and serving the epic toast with a generous dollop of vegan ranch dressing.

Square 44 are well known across Adelaide for their gourmet toasties, so get this one while you can, with the Vegan Baconator only on offer until Monday 19 July.
