In response to the devastating bushfires across South Australia, the Adelaide music and arts community is coming together for FIRE AID, a bushfire fundraiser put together by Karma and Crow Café, Bad//Dreems and Lion Arts Factory.

On February 1, across indoor and outdoor stages, Lion Arts will host a stellar line up of local and interstate artists, who have donated their time and talent.

These include Adelaide’s own BAD//DREEMS, Perth’s psychedelic visionaries POND, the legendary Mark of Cain, recently reformed Children Collide, rock troubadour Tim Rogers, renowned powerhouse Hayley Mary, garage behemoths West Thebarton and local noise rock mainstays Horror My Friend.

Food, drink and local art will be sold, with all profits donated to the cause. Thus far, this includes contributions from Pirate Life, Mismatch and Coopers Breweries, and Geoff Merrill Wines.

Alex Cameron from BAD//DREEMS says, “We are fortunate to be in a position to do our bit to help South Australia rebuild in the wake of this summer’s tragedies. The response from our fellow musicans has been overwhelming, with everyone approached offering their unconditional support. Almost every band on the bill has someone close to them personally affected by fires here or interstate, so it is a cause very dear to all of us. We look forward to not only raising a considerable amount to help those in need, but also showing our solidarity in addressing the cataclysmic threats to our environment.”
