New market 2nd Hand Sundays will bring together local DJs pumping tunes from the 60s to the 90s and a rotation of local stallholders showcasing unique second-hand treasures and reinventions.
Brought to you by Little Bang Brewing Company, the first market will kick off on April 11 for an afternoon of vintage shopping and music.
2nd Hand Sundays will have free entry and will be located at Little Bang Brewing Company in Stepney.
In attendance will be DJ Fantastic Wax on the vinyls, as well as pop-up stalls from Simply Vintage Trading and Plants and Patchouli. In the future, they hope to expand.
Going forward, the market will take place on the second Sunday of every month, making it the perfect destination to add into your Sunday market rotation. Every month, there will be fresh stalls and DJs in attendance, so there will always be something new to see.
The team at Little Bang Brewing Company is known for their incredible brewery and tap room, which serves an amazing variety of beers and ciders, as well as local wines and their own Little Bang gin. They also serve delicious ethically-sourced food, bringing you everything from burgers to Asian street food.
“We love the concept of 2nd Hand Sundays because we absolutely love a bit of retro music but, in addition, we also love the idea of promoting environmentally friendly upcycling and re-use to avoid wastage,” shares Kerri Davidson from Little Bang Brewing Company.
There will also be a new rotation of cocktail-style drinks specials every single month, starting with a Bang-Gria (Little Bangs very own version of Sangria), Little Bang No.2 (a lovely gin based seltzer number) and Zingi Face (Citrus beer cocktail bom with a sweet surprise) in April.
Doors open at 12pm, so grab yourself a drink, listen to some cool tunes and find yourself a treasure.
You can find 2nd Hand Sundays at Little Bang Brewing Company on 25 Henry Street, Stepney, 5069.
