The Little Treasures Christmas Exhibition is a beloved event that the community looks forward to each year, showcasing the creativity of local South Australian artists. This year, the exhibition will launch with a community celebration on Sunday November 17th from 2pm to 4pm at the Pepper Street Arts Centre in Magill.
The event features over 60 local artists, offering a treasure trove of handmade arts and crafts that are perfect for Christmas giving. The selection of items on display includes ceramics, glasswork, mandala art, jewellery, paintings, photography, cards, textiles, scarves, felting, printmaking, and woodwork. Each piece is crafted with care and reflects the unique talent found right here in SA.
The opening event will have a fun and festive atmosphere with a heaps of free activities for all ages. There will be carol performances by the Adelaide Sound Connection Singers, alongside delicious chocolate and strawberry cups provided by the Chocolate Boys.
For those looking for a bit of fun, free face painting by Love Birdy will be available, and you can also enjoy artist demonstrations, including painting by Irina Nazarova and textiles by Shanghai Suzy. There will even be an opportunity to try your hand at Christmas card making with Made with Joy, with complimentary festive refreshments.
The Little Treasures Christmas Exhibition will run until Thursday December 19th. This community event is free to attend, so don’t miss out on kicking off the festive spirit at the Pepper Street Arts Centre!
