LIV Golf Adelaide gets unofficial afterparty with two Fringe precincts to open early

The Garden Of Unearthly Delights and Gluttony will both open early with select bars, plenty of food trucks, and heaps of shows.

The Garden of Unearthly Delights and Gluttony will both open for the weekend of the 14th to 16th of February ahead of the official Fringe season. Both venues are billed to provide heaps of food trucks, keep the drinks flowing with a range of bars, and entertain the masses with a sizeable list of early-season shows on offer.

The LIV Golf Adelaide weekend kicking off on Friday 14th of February is billed to attract a massive South Aussie crowd, with last year attendance exceeding 94,000. It’s that time of year where Adelaide absolutely pops off with vivid arts performances, atmosphere wherever you go, and all of the classic summer flair that Adelaidians have come to expect. It’s only fitting that these two Fringe precincts are opening early!

Here’s what to expect from The Garden and Gluttony over the weekend of 14th to 16th of February:

The Garden of Unearthly Delights

The Garden of Unearthly Delights will host a wide selection of early showings from magic, to comedy, to physical theatre, there’s absolutely something for everyone. With over 50 shows billed for the weekend alone, The Garden is getting you into the Fringe spirit early.

The Garden is kicking off with a bang on February 14, marking its official 2025 opening. This isn’t just a preview – The Garden of Unearthly Delights will be in full swing!

Embark on a flavour-filled journey with The Garden’s iconic rows of food trucks fit for the most adventurous eaters, and the most picky.

The Garden is turning up the excitement this year, with a lineup of wild and wicked new bars. Grab a zesty Margherita at the Don Julio Bar, or step into the Retro Toucan Bar and sip on a Tequila Sunrise. Or head to Jungle Juice ‘n’ Jams for a bold and fruity cocktail.

Thrill seekers can rest assured that The Garden’s exhilarating rides will be on offer as per usual. Or if you’d rather go slowly and take in the glistening views of Adelaide in the summertime, hop on the ferris wheel!

Gluttony

Gluttony will be holding a sneak peek weekend, on the weekend before the precinct officially opens for Fringe Season. The venue will host six exclusive and preview shows in Rymill Park over the three nights. It will open on Friday from 5pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 4pm.

You won’t be short on food options here, with all 25+ food vendors and a selection of bars operating across the park. Hendrick’s Lounge will be open for a special preview of what Gluttony has to offer. The May Wirth and BankSA Theatre both have ticketed shows on offer.

If you want some fresh ink, you’re in luck! Pigskin Tattoo Collective will be open to walk-ins with an extra-special range of Fringe-only flash.

DJ Alley O will be mixing tunes at the Sometimes Always Bar, taking over the Rymill Park Lake kiosk, from 7pm onwards. Dado’s Doorway Cabaret will be putting on all ages pop-up performances for late-afternoons in the park.
