Live Out Your Dirty Dancing Dreams With Free Dance Classes And Cocktails

Keen to work on your moves but also love a good drink? Check this out.

If you’ve ever watched Step Up, Flashdance, Dirty Dancing – or any dancing that movie for that matter – you can’t say you’ve never wished you could dance too.
How do they get so good?
We know. Dance classes.
Luckily, we’re about to make your dream a reality. Between 1-7 May Australia’s largest dance studio will open its doors to offer free dance classes at QuickSteps to Adelaidians in celebration of Australian Dance Week.
The stunning QuickSteps Dance Club Studio and Bar, on Gouger Street, will be offering newbies the chance to try out beautiful, time-honoured dances, from Salsa to Tango, Rock ‘n’ Roll to Rumba.
Every night the buzzing studios will be pairing their dance classes with sumptuous cocktails and encouraging men and women to try something new in a relaxed, fun and friendly atmosphere.
Managing Director, Sebastian Ananian-Cooper says, “the aim of the week is to introduce young and old to the fun, fitness and friendships that dancing regularly can add to your life.
“At QuickSteps we’re passionate about dispelling old myths around partner dancing and bringing dance into the modern age.
“Ballroom dancing isn’t all slick hair, floppy hands and flappy pants,” says Michelle Robinson who is the Creative Director at QuickSteps.
