Local School Girl Takes ‘Beauty And The Beast’ To New Heights

Local girl Karina Moore is set to raise the bar in this year’s Tyndale Christian Middle School production of Disney’s family favourite ‘Beauty and the Beast’.

Local girl Karina Moore is set to raise the bar in this year’s Tyndale Christian Middle School production of Disney’s family favourite Beauty and the Beast. As one of two students set to fly high above the stage in what will be Tyndale’s most spectacular and ambitious production to date, Karina says she ‘Can’t wait for audiences to be amazed at stunning costumes and magical transformations in the show.’

It is 25 years since Disney’s classic animated movie Beauty and the Beast hit the screens and this production will be a celebration of the colourful characters, life, joy and musical genius that helped audiences fall in love with it in the first place. With an award winning score, including an Oscar for best original song, the show has remained one of Disney’s most popular musicals to date.

Producer Dani Potter says ‘In order to do an epic show like this justice, we knew we would need to form a strong creative team, so we are delighted with all the talent that chose to get involved. The visual effect of the set and costumes alone is stunning! Add to that the performances our directors have drawn out from the actors and audiences will be blown away!’  With over 100 students onstage and behind the scenes the school is confident this will be one production talked about for many years to come.

This magical show will be performed on August 18, 19, 20 at the Auditorium, Tyndale Christian School, Salisbury East.  Bookings can be made through trybookings, https://www.trybooking.com/LNUG .
