Laneway Festival has revealed its 2026 run, and the news is big. After more than a decade in Brisbane, the festival is heading to the Gold Coast with Southport Sharks set to host the February event. The change comes as the Brisbane site prepares for redevelopment ahead of the 2032 Olympics, making way for Laneway to break new ground.
Adelaide fans will also see a shake-up, with the festival moving to the Adelaide Showgrounds, while Perth audiences will have more room to dance with Arena Joondalup locked in as the new west coast site. These shifts mark a new chapter for Laneway, promising bigger spaces and even bigger energy.
When does the lineup drop?
The wait won’t be long – Laneway will unveil its 2026 lineup this Thursday, 18 September, at 8:10am AEST. Make sure you’re following their socials to be the first to see who’s making the cut.
