Everything’s bigger, bolder, and better at Lone Star this week as they ramp things up Texas-style. On Tuesday, Lone Star Rib House & Brews opened the doors to their first-ever South Australian drive-thru, and they’re ready to bring their signature southern style to locals on the go.
Located at 238 Belair Road, Hawthorn, the drive-thru will be open and serving up their famously hearty dishes from 7am until late every day. Think breakfast, lunch and dinner that doesn’t skimp on quality or portion size.
The menu is packed with crowd-pleasers, with everything from grab-and-go breakfasts to full meals. Early risers can choose from breakfast staples like bacon and egg rolls, ham, cheese, and tomato toasties, and smashed avocado on sourdough. There’s also barista-made coffee and iced drinks.
If you’re in need of one of these barista-made coffees, to celebrate the grand opening, they’re giving away a coffee with any purchase until the end of today, Thursday, May 22nd. So, whether you’re doing the school run or grabbing a bite on your way home, it’s a delicious excuse to check out the new set-up.
From 11:30am onwards, the lunch and dinner menu kicks in with a selection of Lone Star favourites. There are buffalo wings in servings of 10, 20 or even 30 pieces, juicy classic angus burgers, loaded amarillo fries with bacon and cheese, their legendary baby back pork ribs, and more.

With the addition of the new Hawthorn drive-thru, Lone Star is aiming to make its much-loved meals more accessible than ever.

The new drive-thru is the perfect spot to stop if you’re looking for a hot coffee and toastie to kickstart your morning, or a full rack of ribs to finish the day. They’ve got ‘A Taste As Big As Texas’ and a huge menu to pick from, that’s perfect for any time of day. This is one to check out!
