Lone Star Rib House & Brews expands in South Australia with new location and more underway

Lone Star Rib House and Brews launches its fifth South Australian outlet in Hawthorn, defying economic pressures with robust growth and a focus on affordable, quality dining and local produce.

Lone Star Rib House and Brews, renowned for its American-style cuisine, launched its newest Adelaide location, a restaurant in Hawthorn, on Friday. This site marks the fifth in South Australia, as the chain rapidly expands within the region. The Hawthorn opening builds on the momentum gained from successful launches at Hallett Cove and Gilles Plains.

Kishore Machabattuni, the franchisee for the new Hawthorn location, spoke about joining the growth trajectory of Lone Star Rib House & Brews in South Australia. “I am thrilled to be a part of Lone Star Rib Sale House & Brews South Australia expansion with the opening of our newest eatery in Hawthorn. This opening signifies our commitment to meeting the growing demand for delicious food and great hospitality in Adelaide. The demand for Lone Star’s famous smokey ribs is undeniable and I am delighted to be a part of the journey to expand this popular chain into new parts of South Australia,” said Machabattuni. He anticipates that the Hawthorn venue will quickly become a favoured gathering spot for the local community, mirroring the success of other locations.

Currently, Lone Star Rib House and Brews operates 12 locations across New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia, with five additional outlets in Western Australia and Queensland. The franchise’s robust growth has defied the broader economic pressures such as the ongoing cost of living crisis.

Gary Blyton, General Manager for Lone Star Rib House & Brews in New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia, elaborated on the chain’s resilience and committed customer base. “Despite the ongoing cost of living crisis, Lone Star has witnessed sustained growth and demand, especially through the launch of our two new South Australia venues, Gilles Plains and Hallett Cove, and our first location in Geelong, Victoria. We strive to deliver good old fashioned hospitality with iconic Texas inspired flavours, creating memorable dining experiences for our valued customer base,” said Blyton. He noted the company’s focus over the past year has been on maintaining an affordable menu to keep the brand accessible and relevant nationwide.

Lone Star Rib House & Brews prides itself on a menu that features high-quality local Australian produce, served up in all-American style dishes. This includes a variety of affordable American classics that cater to a wide palette. The franchise also offers an extensive selection of beverages, which includes craft and tap beers, wines, cocktails, and spirits. Within this range, there are numerous offerings from Adelaide’s top wineries and breweries, highlighting the brand’s commitment to supporting local producers.

The opening of the Hawthorn restaurant by Lone Star Rib House and Brews is set to provide locals with another venue to enjoy high-quality, flavoursome meals in an inviting atmosphere.

Next on the list, are venues tipped to open in Mount Barker, and Norwood, with opening dates and further details yet to be released.
