LOOKBOOK: Couture+Love+Madness’ dreamy new bridal collection photographed in France

Shot at a French château, Adelaide’s own Couture+Love+Madness new bridal collection captures the romance of old-world couture for the modern bride.

The latest bridal collection from Adelaide label Couture+Love+Madness looks like something straight from a dream. Created by designer Cristina Tridente, the eight-look series blends old-world couture with a modern sense of romance.

Each gown draws inspiration from the French Renaissance, with soft curves, sculpted bodices and full, flowing skirts. There’s a touch of drama and grace in the detail. Floral appliqué, textured fabrics, and gentle volume that gives each piece its own character.

The designs draw from the cultural and artistic movement that defined France between the 15th and early 17th centuries. A period when art, architecture and fashion became symbols of rebirth and refinement.

That influence runs through the collection in the form of bodices, voluminous skirts and delicate hand-finished detail, each honouring the craftsmanship of that golden era.

The collection was photographed at Château De Nainville Les Roches, just outside Paris.

The setting brought a sense of whimsy, grandeur and intimacy to the campaign.

“We imagined a bride-to-be creating her own dreamy storyline, playing dress-ups, discovering who she’ll be on her wedding day,” Cristina says.

What makes this launch different is its versatility. Rather than a single statement gown, the collection offers interchangeable separates that can be restyled to create new looks.

“I love the idea of brides mixing and matching pieces instead of buying a whole new outfit for a second look,” Cristina adds.

Every design feels both nostalgic and fresh with a nod to couture’s golden age, reimagined for today’s bride.
