20 lucky applicants now have the opportunity to receive nationally accredited on-the-job training to become an Early Childhood Educator.

Has the pandemic made you rethink your career or deeply question the role of work in your life? If so, you’re not alone.

Many workers – particularly those from industries hit hard by COVID-19, like hospitality and media – are re-valuating their career path and on the hunt for something new.

If you’ve been itching to escape your current industry, explore a new career and get PAID to learn how to do it, then we may have found something for you!

As workplaces begin to return to a new normal, South Australia is in desperate need of Early Childhood Educators. Showcase SA is offering 20 lucky applicants the opportunity to study a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care at no expense to you, alongside employment at an Early Childhood Centre.

Working as an Early Childhood Educator will enable you to help kids grow and flourish, as well as spark learning and promote kindness. This pathway would be a great option for anyone looking to make a positive difference after a challenging few years.

If eligible, you’ll receive nationally accredited on-the-job training whilst being paid to work as an educator in the childcare industry.

The course is expected to take 8 months to complete, based on one day a week face-to-face training. This enrolment is a minimum requirement for anyone working within the Childcare industry.

There are only 20 spots to fill, so apply now and ‘earn while you learn’! Successful applicants will leave with a new career, a fully paid for qualification, and a reinvigorated purpose following the challenges of COVID-19.

Criteria:

  • All eligible participants will be enrolled under a Contract of Training.
  • Must be Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident
  • Resident of South Australia
  • Not currently on an existing Training Contract
  • Be 18 years or older

This opportunity has been made possible thanks to Showcase SA, in collaboration with the Department for Innovation and Skills SA, MEGT (Australia) Ltd and Time Education and Training. Training and employment can be undertaken at multiple locations throughout metropolitan Adelaide.
