Photos of the bright, white tin shed that Lost Phoenix Farm calls home have been littering our Instagram feeds since the Hindmarsh Valley-based eatery opened its doors early last year, and for good reason – it’s beautiful.
The now iconic destination location and event space offer diners delicious food in a relaxed setting and now, just one year on, they are adding another string to their bow.
Lost Phoenix Spirits is the new range released by the team at the farm in conjunction with their good friends at Cut Hill Distillery and features a combination of gin, vodka and whisky that is split into two categories: Foundation and Experimental.
The Foundation Series is (almost) as you’d expect and features the Lost Phoenix spin on the classic white spirits of Gin and Vodka. The flavours are reminiscent of the regional Australian landscape of which it’s made and created with distinct flavour profiles that push traditional styles.
The very first pour at Lost Phoenix Farm, the Australian Dry Gin, combines a mix of native botanicals picked from the property itself while the Pot Distilled Vodka has a sweet taste with layers of complexity.

The Experimental Series is just that. An investigative journey into what flavour boundaries can be pushed. The first drop includes Peated Pancetta Whisky, Degroot Coffee Vodka and Barrel-aged Apple Gin with more to come as ideas and inspirations come to fruition.
The small-batch releases are “an exclusive opportunity to partake in one of our dreams” with new combinations released throughout the year.

This latest venture is the perfect addition to the already bustling scene of Lost Phoenix Farm which saw the transformation of the old winery site into the insta-worthy place we know today.
Owner and operator, Will Doak has a strong resume in Adelaide’s hospitality scene, most notably as the Head Chef of CBD restaurant, Fuggazi, and it’s clear to see his experience has been put to good use in his first solo venture.
Lost Phoenix Spirits are available to purchase in the restaurant or online with regular drops to be announced throughout the year.
Lost Phoenix Farm is located at 34 Mont Rosa Road, Hindmarsh Valley.
