For one night only, a special fundraiser is returning to the Adelaide Hills, with every ticket sold helping to fund vital services through the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation.

LOT.100 is once again hosting Collab for a Cause, bringing together some of South Australia’s top chefs to create a five-course feast, complete with pre-dinner drinks and canapés.

This year’s chef line-up includes local favourites Laura and Max Sharrad of Nido and Fugazzi, Jimmy Toone of Fall From Grace, Quentin Whittle of Herringbone, Mark Best of Infinity and LOT.100 head chef Jack Winfield.

On the night, guests can also enjoy a live and silent auction, live music and wine wall, which also helps go towards raising more funds.

This year’s event will embrace a playful Christmas in July theme with a nostalgic 1990s twist. Guests are encouraged to dress in retro Christmas-inspired outfits and bring plenty of high energy.

The cause is close to the heart of Lot 100s Chef and General Manager Shannon Fleming.

Following the premature birth of twin daughters in 2018, Shannon and his wife Nicole spent almost 100 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital.

Tragically, one of their daughters, Isla, passed away after heart surgery, inspiring Shannon to use his platform in hospitality to give back to the hospital that supported his family through their most difficult time. Since launching Collab for a Cause in 2019, the event has raised tens of thousands of dollars to support neonatal and paediatric care.

“Collab for a Cause is much more than a dinner,” said Shannon.

“It’s an opportunity for the hospitality community to come together and make a genuine difference for families facing some of life’s toughest moments.

“Every ticket purchased and every dollar raised helps provide better care, support and hope for families who need it most.”

Funds raised will help support medical research, specialist equipment, financial assistance for families, music therapy programs within intensive care units, and grief and bereavement services.

With an impressive five-course menu and an important cause at its heart, Collab for a Cause is set to be one of the Adelaide Hills’ most meaningful dining events of the year.
