Sitting on a large property, deep within the Adelaide Hills, the popular venue of LOT.100 isn’t just another South Australian cellar door. The 84 hectares of land is home to a restaurant, function space, distillery, brewery and not one but five premium beverage companies all surrounded by luscious, green lawn that is taken perfect advantage of during the warmer months when visitors can pull out a rug and park up for the day enjoying the natural beauty of the property with a slice of pizza and a glass of vino.
But, if you’ve ever sat on these exact lawns and thought they had more to offer, you wouldn’t be the first and now, LOT.100 are putting the property to good use and introducing a two-day festival held on the property.
Summer Sounds @ LOT.100 is a weekend full of live music, delicious food and of course, some of the best beverages that South Australia has to offer. With Hills Cider, Mismatch Brewing Co, Vinteloper Wines, 78degrees Gin and Ash Valley Fresh Juice all made on-site, there is literally something for all tastebuds on offer.
And the best bit? It’s free! That’s right, there is absolutely no cover charge to attend the festival and soak up the atmosphere. While the full musical line-up is yet to be announced, we can safely assume there will be some very talented local musicians taking to the stage to soundtrack what’s bound to be a wonderful weekend in the Hills.
LOT.100 prides itself on being a benchmark for sustainability and renewable energy with its onsite projects including a wastewater treatment and recycling plant, the use of renewable energy through its 1700m2 of solar panels and the use of fresh, local and seasonal produce throughout its kitchen. Its environmentally focused ethos flows through every aspect of the business, and the Summer Sounds festival will be no different.
So, what are you waiting for? Grab your friends, book a bus and get ready for Summer Sounds!
