As we approach the most romantic weekend of the year, there’s a fresh reason to show your mind and your body some love, with Love Athletica opening the doors to a new beachside pilates studio.
Already a firm favourite among Adelaide locals thanks to its Norwood and Goodwood locations, Love Athletica will officially open its doors in Glenelg on Saturday, February 12th, bringing its signature high-energy workouts and luxe studio experience. It’s the brand’s third South Australian studio and one that’s sure to be popular with anyone looking for a solid sweat sesh in the western suburbs.
Custom-built for movement and comfort, the Glenelg studio features a 14-bed Reformer Pilates space and a 24-mat Hot Mat room. Classes will run daily, in a mix of 45 and 50-minute sessions, including Athletic Reformer, Hot Mat Pilates, Hot Functional Strength, Hot Flow Yoga and Warm Yin Yoga. The schedule is designed to suit all levels, so whether you’re deep in your Pilates era or just getting started, there’s something to suit. Plus, when combined with their unique LA class style and highly trained instructors, this is really what sets them apart.
“Love Athletica’s workouts blend mobility, strength and high-energy sequences in a format designed to centre your body, challenge you and then bring you back to a state of calm, keeping you coming back for more,” shared Ash Hansen, Training & Development Lead, Love Athletica. “Adelaide fell in love with our classes when we opened our studios in Norwood and Goodwood. We were blown away by how loyal and engaged the South Australian community has been, so we can’t wait to bring our thoughtful classes, welcoming instructors and community-driven vibe to Glenelg.”
As with all the Love Athletica studios, Glenelg won’t just be about what happens in the classes. The premium space also includes luxury change rooms with towels provided, a vanity bar, filtered water stations, lockable lockers and the brand’s loved post-class ritual of complimentary hot and iced tea.
To celebrate the opening, Love Athletica is hosting a two-day launch on Saturday, February 14th and Sunday, February 15th, with in-studio activations and brand collaborations. Throughout the weekend, there will be post-class hydration stations featuring canned Sodii, Hailey Bieber-inspired Love Bomb smoothies, ‘can your own’ iced matcha and coffee, and protein ball snacks to refuel. Every class will include spot prizes, with guests spinning a prize wheel to win everything from local cafe vouchers and to Lululemon accessories and free classes. Adding to the vibe, a live DJ and complimentary iced coffees from neighbouring cafe Olivetti will keep things going until 11am each morning.
To celebrate the launch, Love Athletica is also rolling out limited-time offers, including five classes for $39 for first-timers, and a Foundation Membership with unlimited Reformer and Hot Mat classes for $61 per week.
