crowneCrowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts has hosted the lunch of a lifetime for two lucky draw competition winners and their guests. Adelaide brothers Phillip and Dan Lock, and Canberra couple Nick and Annabel Dobson travelled to Sydney to claim their incredible prize.

The official hotel partner of the Wallabies since 2002, Crowne Plaza gave each of the winners and their lucky guests a delicious lunch with Wallabies squad membersBen Alexander and James Horwill, three nights’ stay at picturesque Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach and return airfares to Sydney. Prize winner, Annabel Dobson was thrilled at the opportunity to meet the players: “Being Canberians it was great we actually got to meet Ben [Alexander] as we’re huge Brumbies supporters, but the whole experience was just fantastic. Crowne Plaza put on an outstanding lunch and it was so nice to sit and chat with them, as if we’ve known them for years! It’s been an incredible experience for us.”

James Horwill had nothing but praise for the competition: “It’s always positive to have experiences like this for fans. Crowne Plaza has supported the team for so many years – so it was awesome to see the staff look after Phillip, Dan, Nick and Annabel, just like they look after us.”

David Bowen, General Manager Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach said: “For over a decade Crowne Plaza has supported the Wallabies, and Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach has welcomed the players more times than we can count. The team is constantly travelling, so it’s important we make them feel at home, wherever they are. It was clear from the conversation flowing throughout lunch that the competition winners had a truly fantastic experience, and we were so happy that we could help facilitate that.”
