The Lucky Dumpling Market is coming back to light up Elder Park with its immersive and appetising atmosphere for the OzAsia Festival.
After a brief intermission in 2020 and last year being held under restrictions, this year’s Dumpling Market will be in full swing. From the team behind Gluttony and Base Camp, the Lucky Dumpling Market has all the aspects to make it a must-attend event.
The annual mid-Spring festival holds host to a variety of arts, entertainment, and the best tasting food the city has to offer. A centrepiece to the entire festival you can experience an array of culture.
Free local and national performances, a range of worldly food trucks and family friendly cultural activities across each week.
Awaiting you will be yummy noodles, baos, bubble tea, and the most sensational dumplings. World cuisines spanning across Asia from Korea, Vietnam, Japan to Taiwan, Malaysia, the Philippines and more.
Elder Park will brighten up your evenings with a full program of entertainment and a selection of food and drink.
Begin by walking through the Moon Lantern Trail backed by puppetry and live music. Then feast your eyes on the 40-metre-long Hong Kong Dragon lighting up the riverbank.
The selection of free live entertainment includes George & Noriko, a unique country duo with blues guitars and a fast Japanese twist or Kuya James an award-winning singer and producer with hip hop and party vibes for the dancefloor.
