Country music sensation Luke Combs is set to make history with his first-ever stadium tour in Australia and New Zealand in January and February 2025. Combs, who has risen to global fame for his distinctive vocal style and compelling songwriting, will be the first country artist to headline a full stadium tour in the region. The tour announcement promises a series of high-energy performances in some of the most iconic stadiums across Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.
Joining Luke Combs on this landmark tour will be American country music stars Jordan Davis and Mitchell Tenpenny, as well as Australian artist Lane Pittman. Each of these artists brings a unique flair to the lineup, promising a dynamic musical experience for audiences. Davis and Tenpenny, who made their Australian debut at CMC Rocks QLD in 2023, are renowned for their chart-topping hits and engaging live performances. Pittman, a rising star in Australian country music, previously joined Combs during his 2023 tour in Australia and New Zealand.
The tour is a celebration of Combs’ monumental rise in the music industry. From small venue performances to headlining major stadiums, Combs’ journey reflects his widespread appeal and the strong connection he has forged with fans around the world. In addition to his tour, Combs has been recognised with several nominations at this year’s CMA Awards, including Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for his latest work ‘Fathers & Sons’, and the prestigious Entertainer of the Year—an award he previously won in 2021 and 2022.
‘Fathers & Sons’ features twelve tracks that offer insights into Combs’ personal life, especially his experiences of fatherhood. The album has received extensive acclaim for its heartfelt songwriting and emotional depth, marking another significant achievement in his career. His influence also extends beyond music, with his singles featuring in major films and even museum exhibits that celebrate his contributions to country music.
Tickets for the Luke Combs 2025 tour will be available for presale from Monday 23 September, with general sales starting later in the month.
