Luke Million To Headline Music Festival At Old Royal Adelaide Hospital

Million will be joined by some of Australia’s finest in the alternative music. alt-indie, roots, hip-hop and experimental electronic artists bringing a lively, dual-stage festival to one of the newest event spaces in town.

The old Royal Hospital will host the second annual Root Down Music Festival headlined by SA’s Electro-King Luke Milion on Saturday, 28 October.

Million will be joined by some of Australia’s finest in the alternative music. alt-indie, roots, hip-hop and experimental electronic artists bringing a lively, dual-stage festival to one of the newest event spaces in town. There will be market stalls, break-dancing, exhibitions and food trucks galore.

The tasteful genre-defying line up aims to engage the audience with music, visual art and street performers while demonstrating new live instrumentation of the electronic and roots crossover.

Local companies Hills Cider, Mismatch Brewing and Unico Zelo Wines will be flowing through the newly acquainted event space, bringing a festive and exhilarating experience to all the senses. With the recent closure of the RAH, Root Down will be marked as the first music-based festival to step into the old hospital site and to get creative with the new spaces.
