Run donut walk South Australia’s own Lukoumades for its newest sweet treat available from tomorrow.
The Greek donut shop is adding Donut Fries to its menu, and we are already salivating at the idea. As of tomorrow, there will be a whole Donut Fries range for you to sample and devour till your heart’s content.
To start with, Lukoumades will include flavours such as Kinder, Biscoff, Oreo Crumble, Reese’s Peanut Butter and Strawberry & Cinnamon.
Not only will the Donut Fries range be available from their Norwood Parade, Hyde Park and Henley Beach locations, but you can also purchase them from the comfort of your own home on UberEats.
The eatery hinted at these tasty new menu items last week, but the week has finally swung around and the wait is almost over.
For those who have been living under a rock and are unfamiliar with Lukoumades, the business is named for the Greek donuts it champions, said to be one of the oldest pastries in history.
In fact, in Ancient Greece, the bite-sized, golden-brown balls of dough were served to the winners of the Greek Olympics.
Lukoumades, the Adelaide-based business, has reinvented this historical dessert, mixing tradition with creativity.
If you would like to try your very own Donut Fries, head to Lukoumades at Norwood Parade, Hyde Park or Henley Beach.
