New Adelaide Airport restaurant “100 Miles” opens with local flair

A one-of-a-kind dining experience is coming to Adelaide Airport, designed to showcase South Australian produce with a focused, seasonal menu for a first-class dining experience. 

A one-of-a-kind dining experience has opened in Adelaide Airport, designed to showcase South Australian produce with a focused, seasonal menu for a first-class dining experience. 

Conceptualised by Emirates Leisure Retail Australia with the help of interior designers TORCA, 100 Miles is a restaurant with a single core philosophy, to create artisanal dishes using ingredients sourced from within 100 miles of the venue. 

This emphasis on ‘ingredients less travelled’ translates to a sustainable and more flavourful dining experience for guests, showcasing the full range of what South Australia has to offer. 

100 Miles is the first restaurant of its kind in an airport, making it a truly unique dining experience.

A local focus for an airport-located restaurant is no coincidence, and 100 Miles takes great pride to source their ingredients as locally as possible. 

Their ingredient list includes products from the Adelaide Central Market, Bickfords, Beerenberg Farm and Riviera Bakery to name a few. 

The restaurant also features an SA-only wine list, with selections from the Barossa, McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills, Clare Valley and Eden Valley. 

The location will additionally feature a rotating seasonal wine list, with multiple premium wines available in addition to the regular selection. Henscke is the featured winery following the 100 Miles opening. 

100 Miles is determined to stay true to the locally sourced philosophy, recognising a desire in both national and international travellers to engage and indulge in both locality and regionality as part of their travel experience.

Collaborating with local design firm Black Squid Design, 100 Miles promises a bespoke dining experience. 

The interior features an open kitchen that allows guests to experience the full theatre of their meals being prepared. 

The kitchen is further decorated with a mural stretching the length of the kitchen, artfully created by Black Squid Design.

100 Miles is located at Adelaide Airport on level 2 – just turn right after leaving security clearance.
