Well, this is combo (meal) we never expected!
Fast food giant McDonald’s and much-loved sleepwear company Peter Alexander have collaborated for limited edition pyjama line, and believe it or not, we’re lovin’ it!
The comprehensive line features everything from classic PJ sets to sleeping tees, flannel pants and shorts, joggers, and a jumper with “Macca’s” emblazoned in yellow across the front.
The collaboration manages to beautify burgers, adding pops of colour and fun imagery so that your burger-themed PJ set is actually cute. They have the fast food chain’s iconic yellow and red colour scheme with a few aesthetic editions of light pink, orange, aqua, and white. Many articles of clothing also feature patterns with signature Macca’s imagery––Ronald McDonald, burgers and fries, and more.
To us, each item looks perfect for a lazy Sunday or cosy night when you just want to chow down on a Happy Meal on the couch… or, in the words of Peter Alexander, “McFlurry into bed with Peter’s scrumptious Macca’s collection.”
Both Macca’s and Peter Alexander are no strangers to exciting collaborations. Just recently, the pyjama company released a Mickey Mouse and Fantasia-adorned line with Disney, and Macca’s dropped Tim Tam and Fairy Bread McFlurry flavours in Sydney to celebrate their 50th birthday down under. However, even despite their knack for unexpected pairings, we’re surprised and excited by this sleepwear x burger joint duo.
The sleepwear brand is also excited about the collaboration, jokingly noting “I’m lovin’ it… with or without the pickles.”
