This September, seafood lovers will be spoilt for choice, with an incredible month-long Seafood Social extravaganza at SkyCity Adelaide’s Madame Hanoi, that promises to be a feast for the senses. From September 3rd to 28th, this multi-award-winning French-Vietnamese restaurant will be showcasing an array of new seafood creations alongside elevated classics, perfect for sharing with friends and family.
Head Chef Sean Thomas has curated a menu that celebrates the exceptional local produce that South Australia has to offer. “We are spoiled for choice here,” he says. “We are using as much South Australian seafood as we can, including kingfish from Port Lincoln, oysters from Coffin Bay, mussels from the Eyre Peninsula, and local ling.”
The Seafood Social menu features an exciting range of dishes that combine oceanic classics with quintessential Asian flavours. Kick-start your culinary journey with the returning favourite, Madame’s SA oyster shooters – a flavour bomb packed with fresh wasabi, soy, mirin and pops of salmon roe.
For starters, the chef’s pick charcoal fish bao is a must-try. This fluffy black charcoal bao bun is filled with fresh ling in yellow curry batter, pickled fennel, and dill, offering a delightful combination of textures and flavours.
