Maggie Beer and Simon Bryant join Gather & Graze lineup

CheeseFest+FERMENT Founder and Director, Kris Lloyd is thrilled that two South Australian icons will be joining the Gather & Graze demo stage.

Gather & Graze hosted by CheeseFest is excited to announce two much loved South Australians who will form part of the live cooking demonstration stage programme. Maggie Beer and Simon Bryant will treat guests on separate days with their culinary expertise.

CheeseFest+FERMENT Founder and Director, Kris Lloyd is thrilled that two South Australian icons will be joining the Gather & Graze demo stage, “Maggie is such an important part of the fabric of our food industry here in South Australia.”

“I am delighted that she will be able to join us this year for Gather & Graze, it will be an intimate gathering showcasing some of South Australia’s finest food and beverages, something I know Maggie is very passionate about.”

On Sunday 8 November Maggie Beer, AM, will headline the cooking demonstration stage from 1pm.

“I am happy to be able to be part of the Gather & Graze event, to showcase the wonderful food and beverages we abound with here in South Australia.  It’s so special we can have such an event and be together after the impact COVID-19 has had on us all.  I’m so looking forward to it.” Ms. Beer said.

Simon Bryant, a long-time supporter of CheeseFest will also be joining this year’s Gather & Graze line up on Saturday 7 November all day cooking his delicious Mac & Cheese with a twist, and on stage at 5pm ahead of Mark Kamleh, DJ extraordinaire.

Kris continued, “I am so pleased Simon will be back, and joining our amazing line-up of food producers serving delicious dishes made with South Australian produce.”

Simon Bryant said, “I’m really happy to see Gather & Graze on the event program for 2020 and very much looking forward to cooking again!”

Further exciting editions to the weekend include Emma McCaskill, Karena Armstrong from Salopian Inn, Rose Adam from Middle Store & MasterChef, and Paul Baker from Chefs on Wheels.

Gather & Graze will showcase South Australia’s finest cheese and fermented foods, niche bars to enjoy wine, beer, gin, and other fermented drinks and delicious produce supporting producers from all across the state including Langhorne Creek, Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale, Kangaroo Island, Barossa Valley and Clare.

“We are encouraging everyone to get behind Gather & Graze to help support our Food and Beverage industries, some of whom have had an extremely tough year. We also encourage people to get in early and purchase tickets with sessions allowing for limited numbers so that CovidSafe guidelines can be followed and cleaning can take place between sessions” Ms. Lloyd concluded
