South Australian food legend Maggie Beer is bringing her exclusive range of Maggie’s Orchard produce and Pheasant Farm wines to Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market.
The Pheasant Farm is where it all began for Maggie Beer back in 1979. Maggie and Colin still own and work the property together with their family.
As of September 13, Maggie Beer is bringing a small range of “Maggie’s Orchard” grown and “Pheasant Farm” produced items to the Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market as a weekly stallholder.
This is not the popular range found in supermarkets throughout the country but tiny batches of unique products from the Seasonal Kitchen in the original Pheasant Farm.
Maggie’s granddaughter Lilly will be running the weekly stall inside the pavilion, but Maggie will be popping in regularly to lend a hand selling a range of goodies including:
- Maggie’s Orchard Dried Pears
- Maggie’s Orchard Apricot Jam
- Maggie’s Orchard Muesli
- Maggie’s Orchard Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Pheasant Farm Dukkah
- Pheasant Farm Home Block Tempranillo
- Pheasant Farm MGS
- Frangipane Tart baked in the Seasonal Kitchen
- Quince Vino Cotto
The offerings will change seasonally as Maggie adds new handcrafted small batch items to the range.
The Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market takes place from 8:30am to 12:30pm every Sunday at The Adelaide Showgrounds.
