Adelaide’s newest hotel offering is vastly different to the slew of major projects coming to fruition such as EOS at SkyCity, Oval Hotel, and the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Majestic M Suites will be a boutique offering, nestled in the picturesque North Adelaide in a six-level building that “that seamlessly integrates into a heritage conservation zone,” says the Majestic Hotels Group.
Set to open mid December this year, Majestic M Suites are situated perfectly to overlook Adelaide Oval and the city.
According to the Majestic Hotels Group, as you arrive at M Suites you are greeted by a sandstone faceted façade and a glorious 8.5m high vertical garden that runs the full length of the building’s frontage.
Adelaide and the regions of South Australia are referenced throughout, with a curated selection of art and individually designed pieces, with each upper level emulating the beauty and diversity of what the State has to offer.
A significant contributor, Toby Muir Wilson, is an Australian timber artist who was commissioned to create several pieces in exotic Australian timbers. Wilson’s photography, sculptured works and beautifully crafted furniture pieces can be seen throughout the property.
Importantly, several environmental considerations including 300 solar panels on the roof and other solutions, many of which are a first for South Australia, demonstrate the futures thinking embedded into the design and build of M Suites thereby establishing itself as one of the State’s most energy efficient buildings.
Contemporary style accommodation is offered in generous one, two, and three-bedroom suite configurations along with a gym, meeting rooms and a BBQ area featuring an inspiring 4-metre-long blackwood and Huon pine refectory dining table.
All 91 suites offer a balcony or terrace, laundry, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge area, work desk and dining area. Equipped with iPod docking station, complimentary high speed and unlimited Wi-Fi, a kitchen filled with the highest quality appliances and necessities including a washer/dryer, full-sized fridge/freezer, oven, dishwasher, induction stove top, microwave, coffee machine, crockery and cutlery.
Every suite includes a bath and separate shower, with a second bathroom in both the two- and three-bedroom configurations. The suites are generous in size and are available in one, two, three-bedroom and spa configurations depicting majestic views of historic North Adelaide in the foreground or striking vistas of vibrant Adelaide and its surrounds.
