Speculation surrounding the future tenants of Westfield Tea Tree Plaza’s Level 1 can now be put to rest as it’s officially confirmed – the space will soon house a JB Hi-Fi store and Timezone Zone Bowling, adding new dimensions of entertainment and retail to the popular shopping centre in Adelaide’s North-East.

This confirmation follows a recent Facebook post in the Tea Tree Gully Area “What’s Up” group, announcing the news to local residents with a picture of the signage.

Timezone Zone Bowling, slated to open its doors in Winter 2024, promises to be a highlight of the new offerings. There’s already a Timezone in Tea Tree Plaza, but this relocation adds the bowling element which is perfect for families and groups of friends seeking fun-filled entertainment options. The new hub will have bowling, games, laser tag, bumper cars, prizes, parties, a cafe and more.

JB Hi-Fi, a household name in electronics and entertainment retail, is no stranger to the area, with another store already located nearby on Smart Road in Modbury.

The confirmation of JB Hi-Fi and Timezone Bowling as Level 1 tenants comes amidst ongoing renovations within Tea Tree Plaza.

Recent upgrades at Tea Tree Plaza have seen significant enhancements, including a major overhaul of the Myer store. The renovation completely revamped two levels of the store and eliminated one level, paving the way for the introduction of the two new venues on Level 1.

There’s also been a small interior revamp, like opening up level two and making it much brighter and with new flooring, revitalising the shopping experience. Additionally, a selection of new shops has recently opened, including shops like Peter Alexander, Sushi Hub, Prosegur, Billini, All Around Massage, Sushi Hiro, and OmMade Meet the Maker.

Soon to join the the lineup of shops is Beauty megastore Mecca and Litchi Fresh and Grocer.

This announcement marks another significant milestone in Tea Tree Plaza’s journey since its major upgrade six years ago. The $50 million investment introduced an entire new food and entertainment precinct, boasting nine new restaurants and a state-of-the-art 12-screen cinema complex.

The addition of JB Hi Fi and Timezone Bowling adds to the offerings and convenience for those living in Adelaide’s North-East.
