Make At-Home Learning Fun with These Play-Based Activity Packs

Two Adelaide mums are helping to make the process of teaching your kids at home a lot more easier and fun with special play-based learning activity packs.

With the next school term in limbo and parents making the decision to keep their children home in light of the COVID-19 crisis, many will face the difficult task of home-schooling their children and making the experience fun and engaging for their little ones. Enter Learning Adventures with C + Z.

Learning Adventures with C + Z is the brainchild of two mums, Bianca Stefanoff and Georgie Eleftheriou. It’s a service that provides at-home activity packs for parents who are now tasked with educating their children at home.

“Georgie and I are both mums, we realised the importance of kids still needing to learn at home during this time, but in a fun way, that’s why we decided to create Learning Adventures with C & Z,” says Bianca.

Each pack correlates to what is currently taught in the Australian Curriculum and Early Years Learning Framework, with an emphasis on play-based learning.

As a mother of two toddlers and a qualified Early Learning Childhood educator, Bianca is quite the advocate of play-based learning and the role it has in making learning seem fun.

“Play-based learning is so important, not just because it allows children to learn in a fun way, but because it also broadens the learning outcome,” says Bianca.

Learning Adventures with C & Z currently offers two numeracy and literacy activity packs so children can learn all about numbers and letters of the alphabet.

All resources and instructions are included in the activity packs, meaning that there’s no need to leave the house in order to use them.

Activity Packs can be purchased via Learning Adventures with C + Z’s official Facebook page here.
