My Grandma Ben is set to share their delicious Korean kimchi recipe in a hands-on workshop which is coming up in early September.
While eating the spicy pickled treat is a favourite past time of ours, discovering the secrets behind it, so we can have it any time we want, is fabulous news for a Friday.
That’s not all.
The two-hour workshop will also have you making your very own dumplings with a tasty kimchi filling and a spicy chilli jam.
Before you know it, you’ll be turning unassuming cabbages into the irresistible fizz, tang and spice that is Korean kimchi.
My Grandma Ben does it slightly different, though. Using red miso instead of fish sauce means that the delicious fermented condiment is vegan friendly.
You’ll receive all the ingredients you need, take-home recipes and guidelines, and a complementary glass of wine and fermented goodies to snack on as you work.
