Frontier Touring and MG Live have announced that Aussie musician and singer, Mallrat, will join Kylie Minogue as the special guest for the Australian leg of her highly anticipated ‘Tension Tour’. The tour is set to kick off in Perth on February 15th 2025.
The announcement comes alongside news that additional tickets have been released for all Australian shows, as ticket sales exceeded 100,000 for the ‘Tension Tour’ so far. The entire production release tickets will be available for purchase from 9am local time today. Fans can secure their tickets via the official Frontier Touring website (details below).
Kylie Minogue is slated to perform ten dates across Australia, and the inclusion of Mallrat adds an exciting dimension to the tour. ‘Tension Tour’ concertgoers can expect to see Mallrat take the stage at 7:45pm, followed by Kylie at 8:45pm. The opening of venue doors will begin at 6:45pm for all shows across the country.
Mallrat, the stage name of Grace Shaw, has been recognised as a rising star in the music industry since her debut in 2016. Her work has earned global recognition and praise from music journals including NPR, Stereogum, NME, and more. Shaw’s music has also resonated strongly with listening audiences, amassing over half a billion career streams.
Mallrat shared her excitement about joining the tour, saying “I’m thrilled to be touring with Kylie, a true icon of pop. Can’t wait to bring my music to such a big stage and share it with Kylie’s fans.”
Ahead of the tour, Kylie released her 9th ARIA #1 album ‘Tension II’ in October 2024, which features several successful singles such as ‘Lights Camera Action’ and ‘Someone For Me’.
Following Australia, the world tour will continue its run across Asia, North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Latin America.
