Australia’s first and largest urban axe throwing company, MANIAX is holding their Fright-Fest this Halloween weekend, so step-aside Freddy Krueger, the axe throwers are coming!

Come dressed in your scariest Halloween get-up and get ready to hurl hatchets and join in the festivities of what is sure to be a sell-out event this October. Prizes for best dressed include MANIAX and Young Henrys prize packs, loaded with plenty of awesome give-aways, along with 2 for 1 Young Henrys beers all weekend long!

Fright Fest will run from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st October at their Thebarton location, giving axe-throwers and Halloween lovers a reason to come together for this spook-tacular event!

Established in 2014, MANIAX is the first and largest Urban Axe Throwing company in Australia. Their fully license venues in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide have been keeping thrill-seekers entertained across the years with close to 350,000 people through their doors across the country. Thats about fifteen-million axes thrown!

Director of MANIAX, Adam Schilling, recalls on their website, how it all began. “It started with beers, a bunch of different types of axes, mates and some knocked up axe targets in my backyard. We threw axes into the night for a couple of weeks until the neighbours had enough of the many loud thuds of the axes hitting the targets and started yelling at us to stop. We tried and tested every axe we could get our hands on, and to this day, we continue our R&D with products and procedures to perfect the experience that is Urban Axe Throwing”.

Their Adelaide location in Thebarton offers up ice-cold craft beers, wine or ciders (once you’re done ditching axes of course!) and is accompanied by pizzas for purchase, plus plenty of other snack options. Located right in the middle of the hip-inner western side of town, restaurants such as Bloom, the Wheatsheaf and Mr Sunshines are just around the corner if you’re looking for a more substantial ‘after-axe’ feed.

So what better way to celebrate Halloween than to channel your inner-viking and throw some axes like you’re in some kind of horror cult movie! With drink specials and prizes throughout the event, make sure you book in for Fright-Fest now!

Find MANIAX at 1 Light Terrace, Thebarton.
