Maple pancake cocktails on offer in Adelaide’s CBD

A maple pancake cocktail has landed in a popular Adelaide CBD bar, and we’re ready to have breakfast for our nightcap!

Breakfast for your nightcap? Yes please!

Adelaide’s resident arcade venue Power Up Bar has brought a maple pancake cocktail to Leigh Street, and it looks delicious.

The cocktail has lots of maple flavours, so you can spoil yourself with a beverage like pancakes covered in golden syrup as you drink with Mario, Sonic and Pacman.

In addition to this new drinks special, the Leigh Street cocktail bar is also known for its arsenal of retro arcade games.

In total, the bar has five arcade machines, including two-player varieties and wall mounts. And the games don’t stop at the arcade; Some of the cocktails have video game influences, such as their “It’s-a Me, Mario” drink, which comes in red and blue just like the famous character.

Other popular drink offerings include their sharing cocktails, which come with a bottle of soju inside, and their sugary shots, such as their Buffalo Bill-inspired shot topped with cream.

Power Up Bar is the brainchild of Than and Tira Rattanakosit, also responsible for wizard-themed The Sorcerer’s Bar. The pair opened the bar in 2020, and they’ve been bringing sugary drinks and arcade fun to Leigh Street ever since.

For their latest sugary drink installment, the maple pancake cocktail, be sure to head to Power Up Bar.
