Marble Hill Picnic Showcases Adelaide Hills Wine & Food

Celebrate the end of spring and the start of the cherry harvest at the second annual Picnic at Marble Hill. Hundreds of people will meet at the spectacular ruins of Marble Hill for a one-day festival of Adelaide Hills wine and food.  

Delicious produce from local food heroes Udder Delights, Skara Smallgoods, Christine’s cakes, Woodbake Cafe, Aldgate Butcher, and many more will be served throughout the day as well as local winemaking legends Ashton Hills and Henschke, along with young-guns Lucy Margaux, Ngeringa and Whisson Lake, will provide wine tasting and sales.

Jazz music will add to the luxury of the afternoon by local artists Midnight Martini and tours of Marble Hill by the East Torrens Historical Society will be available throughout the day.  All proceeds from the day will go to the Cora Barclay Centre, Cherryville CFS, and Adelaide Hills Slow Food Convivium.

Tickets:  $15, available at the gate – ONLY 100 AVAILABLE!!  The limit of 200 booked places has been reached so the remaining 100 places will be sold at the gate on the day on a “first come/first served” basis.  Gates will open to the public at 11am and the first 100 adults to arrive will be allowed in at $15 a head.

Booked tickets will be held at the gate until 12 noon or 12.30 pm, depending which batch you are in, and any booked tickets which have not been claimed, will be released to others waiting at the gate.  Please share transport wherever possible, because on-site parking is at a premium.
