The Marion Hotel is bringing the beat and soul of blues music to the Garden every Wednesday night, with the launch of Wednesday Blues.
Kicking off on Wednesday, 24 August, Wednesday Blues will give guests a rotation of some of South Australia’s best Blues artists, starting with Joe: Acoustic Soul.
The Marion Hotel is known for its live acoustic music and weekend DJs, and they are now taking their range to another level.
After a successful Winter Blues activation throughout June and July, which saw guests on the dancefloor, it gave inspiration to Marion Hotel Manager, Meegan Gibbons, to bring Blues back to the Marion every Wednesday night.
“We are really excited to bring something different to the Marion. Once we saw how excited our guests were about Blues music, we knew we needed to make it a regular occurrence so we’re so excited to bring a regular blues music night to the Southern area”, says Gibbons.
Wednesday Blues will also see guests able to enjoy $15 Whisky Sours and with the Hotel’s bright and timber-inspired interior, live plants, and open-air ceilings, the Marion is the perfect setting to enjoy some weeknight entertainment.
With the addition of Wednesday Blues, guests can now sit back, relax and enjoy live music at the Marion Hotel’s Garden five days of the week. Starting with Blues on Wednesdays, acoustic on Thursdays and Fridays, a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights, and acoustic on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Wednesday Blues will run weekly, expanding the live entertainment range of the Marion Hotel creating something for well and truly everyone.
