Hutt Street cafe and bakery Mascavado has launched its all-new weekend pastry boxes, so you can pre-order and take-away their delicious sweet treats to enjoy at home.
Offering up an array of artisan baked goods, freshly made on-site, their new offering includes a selection of six pastries, with three exclusive to the weekend boxes.
Featuring seasonal danishes with a different flavour every month, as well as their N.B.S (never before seen/no bullsh*t) croissants, customers are able to bring home a box of these chef’s selection pastries, without having to go through the hassle of waiting in line and deciding what to order.
Headed by Lea Chairesa, who’s background in pastry making started at the age of just 16 in Sydney, Mascavado has been providing its customers with delicious cakes, tarts, danishes, croissants and freshly brewed coffees from it’s city store since its launch last year.
A talented team of pastry chefs from across the globe including Queensland, Sydney and Canada have come together at this bakery to produce a menu that highlights to best of SA’s local produce.
Re-creating classics and often blending the lines between sweet and savoury, their selection includes innovative flavours such as their almond whiskey knot, miso cookie and chorizo croissant.
Pairing these treats with local sourced coffee from the roasters at Elementary Coffee, their cafe has quickly become a success in the short time since their opening.
Their loyal following of customers, and new patrons alike have been flocking back to the bakery for their quality pastries that present that buttery, flaky and deliciously golden crunch that leave you wanting more.
Open every day (except Monday’s), you can visit Mascavado at 175 Hutt Street, Adelaide.
