Car enthusiasts, start your engines—we’ve got something you can really get revved up about! The McLaren Vale Vintage and Classic 2026 is set to return on Sunday 12 April, and with its twenty-year celebrations in tow, it’s set to draw crowds and unite the community.
Starting at 11am on the Main Street of McLaren Vale, a grand convoy of cars is geared up to grace the streets for the main parade, which starts at Serafino wines and ends at 12pm at selected wineries. Each winery will be offering different food and entertainment, with a strong lineup of participants including Kay Brothers, Hastwell & Lightfoot, Leconfield, and Paxton.
Whether you prefer vintage cars or vintage drops, there’s something for everyone at this family fun-filled event that showcases fine wines, stellar cars, and draws in thousands of locals and visitors.
Event chairman, Nigel Williamson, says the event is likely to bring together more than 20,000 spectators and 500+ cars, and next year promises to be their most successful event to date.
“This will be the 20th year of the event, and we have a new energised committee to make this a great show,” says Nigel.
“We are passionate volunteers driven to elevate our community, by hosting an event for all ages where the community as a whole, benefits.”
In 2026, for the first time, event organisers will be holding a pre-event party at the Chalk Hill winery on Saturday 11 April, replacing the annual charity dinner. The $10 event will feature a guest speaker, auctions, raffles and entertainment.

“We encourage everyone and anyone to attend, and would especially love to see as many families as possible come along to watch or join the parade if they have a car they would like to show off,” says Nigel.
