After a successful soft opening, McLaren Vale’s J&J Wines is preparing to get the ball rolling again, with their plans for a grand re-opening on Saturday, February 26th.
The reopening comes after the winery underwent a revitalising glow-up with an all-new extended outdoor deck and lawn area is a country escape.
There is no need to offload the kids to their grandparents; bring them along for the fun. This space encourages an easy family outing, with a kids play area and games provided.
The newly renovated space invites you to lounge in the sun with a glass of wine in hand. The deck overlooks the picturesque vineyard, and with plenty of lawn space for you to set up a picnic rug, J&J Wines is a breath of fresh air.
Darrell Mason from J&J Wines said the grand opening will feature vintage wines for tasting and a chance to win a carton of wine to take home.
“We’ll be running a competition for the weekend to win a six-pack of back vintage Shiraz from our 2011 to 2015 Organic Rivers Lane range,” Darrell said.
With their many wine accolades, the J&J Wines team have created an exceptional range of wines they are eager to share with you.
With the $10 tasting, you can relish the final days of summer with top-quality wines paired with delectable canapés.
These canapés are created from locally sourced produce which you can purchase on platters, alongside the selection of wines you try.
The new pizza range cooked in a wood pizza oven and the small menu for children has produced a warm atmosphere that takes away the stress of planning a family day.
With their current licensing to accommodate 50 patrons, Darrell said they are looking to “get things moving again”. After being restricted with capacity limits throughout COVID-19 J&J Wines is set to expand its open days (Saturday and Sunday) to include Friday.
Plan ahead and spend the day sipping wine, sampling the mouth-watering local produce and letting the kids off the leash.
Open from 11 am to 4 pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
