Mecca For Chocoholics Opening On Rundle Street

Chocolatier Max Brenner will be delivering South Australia a Christmas surprise, opening their first ever Chocolate Bar right here in Adelaide’s CBD

Chocoholics rejoice! A new mecca of chocolate is coming to Rundle Street and it’s ready to be stuffed in stockings and start a city-wide sugar rush just in time for Christmas.

On Thursday, December 15th, Chocolatier Max Brenner will be delivering a Christmas surprise to South Australia with their first ever Chocolate Bar opening right here in Adelaide‘s CBD. Just in time for the silly season, might we add. Chocolate is always welcomed in our city and this new addition will celebrate chocolate in all its forms, which is just what we love to hear!

Opening day will treat guests to Max Brenner’s legendary Chocolate Breaking Ceremony where 30kg blocks of pure dark, milk and white chocolate will be smashed up and shared with all excited onlookers. Kids will be ecstatic to know that they will finally be able to play with their food without getting told off with a finger-painting station where the paint is melted chocolate.

Be sure to get there early seeing as the first one hundred guests through the doors will receive an early Christmas present. Want to know what it is? Max’s signature Belgian Waffles drizzled decadently with pure milk chocolate.

The menu at Max Brenner will include favourites such as hot chocolates served in the iconic Hug Mug, the chocolate pizza with a crunch, a limited edition Rockin’ Road Sundae choc-full of creamy vanilla ice cream, generous chunks of Max’s new milk chocolate rocky road, marshmallows, gummy bears, chocolate and a cone to build your own!

The Max’s Chocolate Shop will be choc-full of delicious and delightful treats, perfect for gifts or a personal indulgence including their long-time best sellers caramelised pecans rolled in praline and dusted with fine cocoa powder and handmade pralines. For a limited time only they’ll be offering a Christmas collection that includes Max’s Gingerbread Cookies, Sparkles Bon Bon and delectable assorted bars and tablets filled with things such as hazelnut cream and caramelised wafer flakes.

Head down to Max Brenner for the grand opening on Thursday, December 15th, at 2pm. There’s so much to discover, all you chocolate lovers won’t be able to resist coming back for more.
