All your brunch, lunch, and dinner dreams have been answered with this new café located in Salisbury Heights!
Opening their doors in April, the family-owned Badger and Bones strive to be your next community coffee spot, carving out the perfect space for a café opposite a newly developed playground and dog park.
The mother and sibling trio behind Badger and Bones are passionate about cultivating a cosy cornerstone café, serving up tasty food and drinks all day long.
“We’ve been working in the hospitality industry for years and never owned anything ourselves,” says café owner Rosalie.
“We are a third-generation family from Sailsbury Heights so we had a good understanding of the area and knew there was no café location like ours.”
The menu was created from food the trio had been serving their family for years, elevated by the tips and tricks they gained through working in the hospitality industry.
Enjoy homemade loaded banana bread, oozing with peanut butter, caramelised banana and double cream, or Frank’s big breakfast, jam-packed with all the regular favourites.
Lunch and dinner are covered too with a mouth-watering porterhouse steak, creamy mushroom risotto, and an array of loaded burgers and thick hand-cut chips, with the Badger and Bones massive menu likely serving whatever foodie desires you’re craving.
The café hosts a range of amazing meal-deal nights, including $20 schnitzels on Fridays. Choices of schnitzels are chicken, beef, or eggplant and arrive with hand-cut hot chips and a side of gravy. Good news for coeliacs too! Badger and Bones also serve gluten-free schnitzels and gravy, so no one misses out.
Don’t feel like a schnitzel? The café also offers takeaway pizza and burger specials throughout the week.
Badger and Bones is the perfect location to enjoy a midweek cuppa and slice of cake or, an indulgent dinner. The café is open from 8am to 8pm and Tuesday until Sunday.
Pop in for a coffee and a bite to eat at 4/20 Canterbury Drive, Salisbury Heights, SA 5109.
