Love a new brunch spot? New cafe Alimentary Eatery has opened its doors at 47 Jetty Road, Brighton.
Alimentary Eatery’s story began while owner, Deeb was studying nutrition at Endeavour College and Body Type Nutrition. He says, “I love food (soooo much), I love to help people, and I love the aspect of putting a menu together where people choose from a variety of food, healthy and unhealthy.”
Speaking of a variety of food, Alimentary will be serving up dishes with a healthy, Mediterranean twist, that will cater for everyone, from plant-based to gluten-free. “Nothing is too hard,” Deebs says.
Check out this vibrant Pina Colada Bowl. You can get your hands on one of these from 7am – 4.30pm on weekdays, and 7.30am – 4.30pm on weekends. However, Deeb says he’s still toying with menu ideas, so stay tuned.
Vibe-wise, the eatery is very laid back and is soon to be complemented with a large outdoor chill out area, perfect for relaxing under the sun while indulging on a tasty snack.
Although this isn’t just any old cafe, Deeb’s intention for Alimentary doesn’t stop at providing brunch for customers – he plans to build a community based on health and balance. After all, ‘alimentary’ means ‘nourishment’ or ‘sustenance’.
