With his latest single ‘Silhouette’ currently at number nine on Triple J’s unearthed charts and number two on the pop charts, West Lakes born and bred musician Jordan D’Sena is the Adelaide musician making a splash with his mix of pop, indie and singer-songwriter sound.

After first being drawn to his guitar at the age of 5, Jordan has been a regular on the Adelaide gig scene for almost a decade, and even made an appearance on the 2014 series of The Voice Australia, finally releasing his debut single ‘Silhouette’ in July this year.

The Adelaide local has seen a huge response to the single, which is climbing the Triple J unearthed chart for the nation’s unsigned artists as well as reaching over 10,000 streams on Spotify since its release. Even being covered by global music magazines Buzz Music LA and Switzerland’s Rattler Mag Jordan has been overwhelmed by the response, particularly ahead of the release of his next single in November this year.

Citing his biggest influences as Dean Lewis, JC Stewart, Plested and Lewis Capaldi, Adelaide local Jordan has come a long way since guitar lessons at school, his first ever Guy Sebastian Concert to playing gigs of his own at iconic Adelaide live music venues such as Jive and the Crown and Anchor.

“There’s just so much history and natural local vibe with these venues and a place to perform to an engaging crows where you can have some of the best nights” he says.

With future live gigs up in the air due to current lockdown restrictions Jordan is relying on the online streaming of his latest single to carry him through until the performing industry can enjoy larger capacity and singing and dancing in venues.

After Jordan’s appearance on the voice, the talented singer songwriter even covered fellow Adelaide music icon Sia’s Chandelier on YouTube, which has racked up a staggering figure of over half a million views.

Keep up with Jordan’s latest releases here.
