Adelaide’s newest hot spot, Westward Bar, joined SA’s ever-expanding, exciting hospitality scene in late 2020, as a part of SkyCity’s $330m expansion. And it’s the perfect place to meet before or after any event.
Located on the western side of the SkyCity precinct, Westward Bar overlooks the River Torrens footbridge with spectacular views from across the water in an attractive location a stone’s throw from Adelaide Oval.
Boasting a large and boozy bar list, Westward delivers on all levels of taste from locally brewed bubbles to Japanese beer and even an aptly named River Fizz specialty cocktail.
Operating in a space that offers a high-end and luxurious feel, Westward Bar has an appeal of its own with a warmly lit bar and gold laced interior that is too inviting to resist.
On Friday and Saturday nights from 9pm, guests can also relax with a drink in hand and listen to live music from the likes of Adelaide’s own Georgia Germein, Jackie Lim and the soulful classic duo, Soul Co.
Westward Bar opened on 1 December 2020.
