Melbourne Pop Up Night Life Event Hits Adelaide For One Night

A one-off, pop-up event showcasing some of Melbourne’s most exciting live music acts, food, drink, arts and entertainment experiences is heading to Adelaide.

No plans to travel any time soon? No problem. Adelaide will get a taste of Melbourne night life without leaving SA at Melbourne After Darka one-off pop-up event showcasing some of the city’s most exciting live music acts, food, drink, arts and entertainment experiences.

Taking place in Adelaide on Thursday 7th December at Rocket Bar & Rooftop, at Crippen Place, Melbourne After Dark will offer Adelaide locals the unique experience to explore the undiscovered secrets of Melbourne, all under one roof.

Starting at 6.00pm and running until midnight, Melbourne After Dark will feature a twist at every turn, capturing iconic tastes, sounds and artwork from the city with live music from Melbourne artist RemiSaskwatch and The Delta Riggs DJ set, mouth-watering burgers from renowned Huxtaburger and bespoke cocktails straight from the laneways of Melbourne.

Commenting on the event, Mr Peter Bingeman, CEO of Visit Victoria, said, “Melbourne After Dark allows us to showcase the side of Melbourne that appeals to our savvy interstate visitors who are across the latest music and dining trends, and who enjoy the diversity of arts and cultural events that Melbourne offers every day, and well into the night.

“What better way to remind Adelaide – and Australia – of how cutting edge our city is than by bringing it directly to locals and giving them a taste of why they need to book a trip to Melbourne!” he said.

The event will be hosted by Visit Victoria as part of its new $12 million Twist at Every Turn Melbourne marketing campaign, highlighting Melbourne’s unique ability to provide visitors with something new and distinctive at every turn.

“There are so many sides to Melbourne – it’s serious, playful, quiet, dramatic, cultural and sport-obsessed. The new Twist at Every Turn campaign reminds Australians that Melbourne is a city that is always on, always evolving in the best possible way, so any visit is an adventure towards uncovering its many layers and depth of experiences” Mr Bingeman said.

Melbourne After Dark will also be traveling to Sydney and Brisbane – giving locals a taste of Melbourne in their own city.
