Melbourne’s Chin Chin is coming to South Australia for one weekend only, joining forces with the award-winning winery Yalumba for Tasting Australia.
The weekend of bites and booze will see the Flinders Lane eatery set up their GoGo lounge on the lush lawns of the Barossa winery in early May.
Now, for the first time, South Australians will be able to indulge in the mouth-watering South East Asian fusion food fresh from Chin Chin’s culinary team. Kick back at the electric GoGo Lawns collaboration and peruse the little black book of mouthwatering creations synonymous with Chin Chin.
Alongside great food must be great drinks, with Yalumba curating a special line-up of their wines and some locally brewed beers.
Tickets to the inaugural event cost $50, which include four Chin Chin bar snacks, a glass of Yalumba wine and a Riedel take-home glass. And no need to worry about picking the designated driver short stick – a free shuttle bus will be running to and from Yalumba, dropping you at either Angaston or Nuriootpa.
This collaboration between one of SA’s top wineries and the beloved Chin Chin marks the eatery’s first South Australian appearance. The Melbourne restaurant juggernaut has previously popped up in SA in late 2020 and 2021, bringing their popular at-home ‘Make Me, Feed Me’ cooking packs to Adelaidians.
If you’re not familiar with Chin Chin’s mouthwatering menu and award-winning restaurant, let us introduce you. The Flinders Lane eatery is a food lovers dream.
Describing themselves as a “quintessentially Australian restaurant with a South East Asian injection,” you can expect the flavours of Chin Chin to ignite each of your senses.
While the popular restaurant is intertwined with Melbourne’s culture- and a must-visit for interstate travellers – guests of the pop-up event will be able to delight themselves in the pure indulgence and magic of Chin Chin this May.
The Chin Chin x Yalumba GoGo Lawns collaboration is running from May 6 to May 8. The sessions last for five hours, with tickets $50 a pop.
