Mercedes-Benz Adelaide Announced As Partner Of Adelaide Fashion Festival

A huge announcement today as Mercedes-Benz Adelaide is announced as the new partner for Adelaide Fashion Festival…

It has been announced today that Mercedes-Benz Adelaide has been secured as the Adelaide Fashion Festival’s presenting partner.

This comes as another coup for the increasingly dynamic Festival and the announcement came amongst the amazing cars at the Mile End Mercedes-Benz showroom by Tourism Minister, Leon Bignell.

“Mercedes Benz is synonymous with leading design, innovation, high value, elegance and authenticity and there are the hallmarks of the Adelaide Fashion Festival,” Mr Bignell said.

The event will now be known as the Adelaide Fashion Festival presented by Mercedes-Benz Adelaide, which is a huge step for the festival and its future in the fashion event game. This will most certainly aid in putting the Adelaide Fashion Festival on the world stage.

“Mercedes-Benz is such an iconic brand and it has been committed to fashion for over a decade. It has been heavily involved in sponsoring national and international fashion events in New York, Berlin, Los Angeles, Miami and Mexico.”

“For the Festival to secure this luxury brand as presenting partner is indicative of the quality and class to be expected during the four day event in October,” said Mr Bignell.

With the AFF having rapidly gained attention, now world recognised Adelaide designer Paolo Sebastian has already sold out his first show and has added a second showing to the program. More than just an indication of how influential and important Adelaide fashion is, it is also a nod to the amazing talent that we have here in Adelaide. The Festival is doing what it can to play a part in putting that on a world stage and to keep the amazing talent here in our state.

Paul Vasileff, the man behind Paolo Sebastian, said he was extremely grateful for the Paolo Sebastian label, not only for this show but over the past few years.

“I am so honoured to have two shows. I can’t thank everyone enough,” said Paul.

Adelaide Fashion Festival presented by Mercedes-Benz Adelaide will showcase both established designers as well as up and coming South Australian talent from October 22 – 25.
