Miele Set to Shine at Tasting Australia

The Miele Class Acts cookery classes, running from Thursday April 26 – Wednesday May 2, are an intrinsic part of this year’s Tasting Australia festival and a rare chance for food lovers to enjoy an intimate cookery experience with some of the best in the business.

Festival Director, Ian Parmenter said places for these classes are filling up fast for what is a once in a lifetime culinary opportunity.

“Foodies have the chance to learn from leading national chefs, such as Miguel Maestre, Justin North, Matt Moran, Guy Grossi, George Calombaris and Philippe Mouchel and international culinary stars, Richard Fox and Rachel Allen. These cooking classes will enable foodies to learn from the masters.

“South Australia’s very own Simon Bryant will be stepping up to the plate to take part in this event, holding two classes,” said Ian Parmenter.

With all classes being held in the Miele Gallery, Sir Donald Bradman Drive, Hilton, each session only caters for 12 participants at a time, with classes expected to sell out. Presented in the Gallery’s Live Kitchen, each class will be a truly up close and personal experience.

In once again partnering Tasting Australia, Miele is also pleased to showcase its stylish Gallery space and kitchen to aspiring cooks and Category Manager – Food & Beverage, Rudi Niemoeller urges food fans to book now.

“We are looking forward to hosting some of the industry’s top chefs at the Miele Gallery Adelaide and, with its state-of-the-art cooking appliances, we certainly offer food fans a unique and intimate cooking experience,” said Rudi Niemoeller.

While the Miele Class Acts may become fully subscribed, there is still the opportunity for a great celebrity culinary experience for the masses at the Miele Chefs’ Showcase.

For those food lovers who would rather watch the outdoor arena, the Miele Chefs’ Showcase at the BankSA Feast for the Senses on Saturday April 28 and Sunday April 29 is the ideal event, offering entertainment and demonstrations by a range of celebrity chefs, including Mark Hix, Jeremy Strode, Mathew Kemp, Pete Evans, Adrian Richardson, Maeve O’Meara, Anna Gare and Paul Mercurio.

“The Miele Chefs’ Showcase is a free food spectacle on an open stage, using the finest produce, great recipes, all with giant screen coverage set against the stunning Elder Park backdrop – this is a must see event,” said Parmenter.
