Missy Higgins is set to cap off her “The Second Act Tour” with a series of grand finale concerts across Australia. She will be performing in South Australia at Peter Lehmann Wines in the Barossa Valley on December 7th.
The tour, which has taken Higgins across the country over the past five months, celebrates the 20th anniversary of her debut album, The Sound Of White. The live show features a full performance of this classic album, alongside a stripped-back set of songs from her upcoming release, The Second Act. The new album drops on September 6, and fans can pre-order it now.
To conclude the tour, Higgins will perform in some of Australia’s most iconic venues, including the Sydney Opera House Forecourt, Myer Music Bowl, Kings Park, and three renowned wineries in partnership with A Day On The Green. The final encore shows will feature special guest appearances from prominent artists like Dan Sultan, Kate Miller-Heidke, Ruby Fields, Mia Wray, Elana Stone, and Ullah.
Ticket sales will begin with a fan presale on August 30th, followed by general sales on September 3. Given the high demand and quick sell-outs of earlier tour dates, these final shows present a last opportunity to experience this critically praised performance.
Higgins reflected on the tour, saying: “I never imagined it would take me most of 2024 to do this Australian tour, but it’s been such a great experience. I’m glad we’ll get to share it with even more big crowds.”
